We’re heading out for an unforgettable overland weekend through the Cumberland Mountains—and you’re invited.

If Mother Nature cooperates, expect scenic service roads, creek crossings, beautiful mountain views, and a laid-back camping experience with the ROA family.

Meet Up (Friday):

Shoney’s – Caryville Exit

116 Main Street, Caryville, TN 37714

Time: 10:00 AM (rolling out no later than 10:15 AM)

Friday Route:

We’ll roll out from Shoney’s, head toward Middlesboro, KY, drop into TWRA Bull Ridge, and work our way back through the mountains.

Saturday Route:

Meet at Tank Springs Trailhead

500 N Tennessee Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766

Time: 2:30 PM

We’ll head into Red Ash Mountain and finish the night on top of Golden Wing Mountain—nothing but views, good people, and an unforgettable night under the sky.

Return: Sunday afternoon

Beginner-friendly ride, but you will need:

• High-clearance 4x4

• TWRA permit (Type 093 or Type 001 – one per vehicle) or a Tennessee sportsman's license

• Camping gear + supplies
